Dog Aggression

To understand dog aggression you have to understand the different types of aggression. It is widely acknowledged that there are 10 types of aggression experienced in dogs.

1). Defensive Aggression.
2). Fear Aggression.
3). Pain Aggression.
4). Punishment Aggression.
5). Dominant Aggression.
6). Possessive Aggression.
7). Territorial Aggression.
8). Intra-Sexual Aggression.
9). Predatory Aggression .
10). Parental Aggression.

How many of these can you identify in your puppy or dog? Some dogs may just suffer form one type of aggression or they may have traits of 2 or even 3 forms of aggression. We will look at each of these aggression types in more detail over the next few days.
